Winchester Round Table

To continue with our topic of Myths, Legends and Folklore, Eden went off to Winchester to visit King Arthur’s Round Table. Pupils had great time learning about mythical creatures, dressing up as knights, acting out their legends and learning about the different shields and their meanings.

Hercules the Musical!

Eden headed off to London to watch Hercules the Musical at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Pupils had to travel on the over and underground to get to the theatre and were all outstanding in their behaviour and respect for others using the train. We also managed to get a sensory circuit done on the underground platform while waiting for our trains! The show itself was amazing, all pupils engaged really well and loved the show. We had the best time and even managed a facetime call with Dave who was out on a course for the day so couldn't join us. Well done to everyone, you were all outstanding and represented the school wonderfully.

Lower School Historic trip to Portsmouth Dockyard

This week, Lower School visited the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard to see the Mary Rose. We had a workshop about the people who worked on the ship, visited the museum, went on the HMS Warrior and enjoyed a boat trip around the Dockyard. The pupils were amazing and made it a great day out!

St Edward’s Pupils Hit the Track on Our New Yamaha Motocross Bikes!

There’s been a real buzz around St Edward’s as our pupils experience the thrill of riding our new Yamaha motocross bikes.

Our young riders showed enthusiasm, pushing themselves to build confidence, balance, and control on the track. By the end of the session, every pupil had progressed, and every helmet hid a big grin.

What’s inspiring is how the motocross experience is doing more than providing fun:

  • It teaches resilience and perseverance

  • It builds teamwork and support among pupils

  • It encourages personal growth and self-belief

  • And it promotes safe, responsible riding practices

We’re incredibly proud of the maturity and positivity shown by our riders. Yamaha’s bikes have already proven to be an exciting and enriching addition to our extracurricular offerings, and we can’t wait to see how our young motocross enthusiasts develop.
