🇪🇸 Spanish MFL Day – Viva España!


Spanish MFL Day at St Edward’s was full of colour, laughter, and lots of learning! From the moment pupils walked into the School. The day started with a cultural assembly delivered by our linguist Fran, this was followed by activities that brought the language to life.


Fran our organiser for this weeks Spanish Modern Foreign Languages Day.

Everyone had the chance to test their Spanish skills through fun games and challenges, and even picked up a few new phrases along the way. Classes explored Spanish traditions and culture, while others learned about famous landmarks, festivals Art, Food and Sport.

There was a real sense of excitement and teamwork throughout the day as pupils discovered how enjoyable learning another language can be. By the end, we were all saying Qué día increíble!, what an amazing day!


RSHE Day – Learning for Life


Our RSHE Day at St Edward’s was another fantastic whole-school event that got everyone talking, thinking, and reflecting. Pupils took part in a range of activities and discussions about relationships, wellbeing, and making positive choices.

It was great to see pupils sharing ideas, supporting each other, and building confidence as they learned about topics that really matter in everyday life. There were lots of smiles and thoughtful conversations as pupils explored how to look after themselves and show kindness to others.


By the end of the day, everyone left feeling more informed, more connected, and proud of how they had taken part. A brilliant day of learning for life at St Edward’s!
