Out of this World
As part of the Eden Space topic, we went up to London for the day to watch the immersive Moonwalk experience at the Light Rooms, London and then visited the space section of the Science Museum London. Both activities were amazing, especially the Lightroom Moonwalk. Pupils watched a 45-minute show, which was projected all around them, about the moon landing and the Apollo missions.
When in the museum, pupils learnt about different rockets and items which have been used on space missions, along with looking at other parts of the museum.
All pupils went on the over and underground trains, and for many it was a new experience.
We cannot express how impressed we were with how all pupils behaved and interacted throughout the day, and took all the new experiences in their stride.

This week, LSB visited the Romsey Abbey. We looked at the architecture of a religious building and had a task of finding different symbols and objects around the Abbey. We also saw the oldest thing inside the Abbey, which was hair from the Anglo-Saxon times.
Everyone was respectful, engaged and represented the school amazingly!
