In the true spirit of Christmas, St Edward's School community embarked on a journey to make this Christmas memorable for those in need. Large hampers were placed in the assembly hall and pupils and staff were asked to bring in edible produce. The whole school community watched as the baskets were slowly filled to capacity. A small group of pupils and staff were then tasked with delivering the hampers to the Trussell Trust. But first, a quick stop at the local supermarket to top up the hampers to overflowing! Upon arrival at the Trussell Trust, the pupils handed over their gifts. The hampers were intended for families facing challenges this holiday season. The act of giving became a powerful lesson for the pupils, teaching them that small actions can make a real difference to the lives of many.
