This week it is national Anti-Bullying week across the UK and the theme is ‘Reach Out’. This is a great theme, reminding us of the importance of both accepting help when it is offered and also to ‘reach out’ and offer support to others when we can.
At St Edward's we had a whole school assembly reminding pupils about the cycle of bullying, and what to do if bullying occurs. As a school we are registered with the
Anti-bullying alliance as being supporters of this important week of awareness. All pupils have been given official wristbands and in RSHE classes there will be guided discussions regarding the topics of bullying and indeed the importance of ‘reaching out’.
